As the reviews suggest, if you're in the mood for wings, you'll want to try their famous lemon pepper and garlic wings. Customers rave about the flavor-packed bites, often describing them as "fire" and perfectly fried to a crispy golden finish. While some have noted that the seasoning could be dialed up a notch, the overall consensus is clear: these wings hold their own against any competitor in the bustling LA food scene.
Beyond the wings, the care that goes into customer service is palpable. Patrons have praised the friendly staff who make every visit enjoyable. Hands down the best wings you can get in LA!! I regularly order the lemon pepper wings, and the hot wings. The service is super quick. The staff is so warm and pleasant. This family owned establishment has created a nice ambiance as well.
I've checked out the reviews on this place for sometime now... Finally was craving some wings so jumped in car and took a cruise to this spot... Much to my sadness they were closed... I guess that's just the luck of the draw... I'm coming for those wings his week and I'll post some of the results as now the temptation is killing me!! Lol They had a sign apologizing for it... So all good I understand they can't post everywhere if it's just for the day!! Like Arnold says "I'll be back!"
You'll always be deli world . You do have to make a profile inside in order to call in orders for the future ( that's new ) but they were really sweet about it . It's a very small place so don't be too surprised if the inside doesn't have a seat accessible no bathroom kind sucks
Okay.... So I've been going to American Deli and Hot wing Cafe and no one has been able to make wings like them. That is until I tried Wings World! The owners were so nice, seems to be family owned. I'm not gonna lie though, when I saw the prices I was like OH NO.. $19.99 for a 10 piece meal!!!! Needless to say, the prices are definitely high as crap but luckily the wings make up for it. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and the garlic wings with fries. I asked them to fry the wings well done and the owner said " Don't worry honey we always fry well done " which I LOVED!!!!! I got a 20 piece with a regular fry and it came to $39. That's a bit pricey. You have to pay $1 per ranch or blue cheese.... But word of advice , don't waste your money... they taste super cheap. Luckily, I already made my own blue cheese. Overall, the chicken wings were fire.... Full of flavor, Not gigantic and fried to perfection!!!! I gotta save up my little Pennie's but I will definitely order from here again
I have been wanting to try Wings World for months. I was in the area and stopped by. The people that work at Wings World are very friendly and inviting. They had me at HELLO! I ordered the Lemon Pepper and the Garlic Wings. The wings are a nice size and were cooked well, not greasy at all. My only gripe is the wings lacked flavor. Not enough Lemon Pepper seasoning or Garlic flavor. I will put Wings World in rotation, but ask for more seasoning next time. I forgot to take pictures, but we know what wings look like, right?!?
I absolutely love this place whenever I'm north of Redondo Blvd I ALWAYS stop here for my 10 piece lemon pepper wings. If you are ever near Venice and Redondo Blvd go here and tell them Mr Chris sent you I promise you will thank me
Excellent wings! - and not quite as expensive as other places in the area. I got the 10 piece wings ($13.99) and they let you choose 2 of their flavors. I got Lemon Pepper which was more of a dry rub and had a great robust taste, and the Medium which was very tasty and had a light tackiness to the touch. My girlfriend got the Philly Cheese Chicken sandwich combo ($20) which came with 5 wings and a drink. The sandwich was really good with plenty of chicken and soft, fresh bread. On her wings she got Honey BBQ and those were the show stopper! The combo comes with a small cup of Ranch or blue cheese but if you didn't get a combo, they charge you for ranch or blue cheese and it's kinda expensive (pic attached - small $1.25, med $5.99, large $7.99 & extra large for $9.99) I almost dinged them a star for their dip being so expensive but I decided not to, but those prices for ranch & blue cheese tend to raise an eyebrow. We might consider bringing our own next time. Overall for the quality & taste of all the food we had and price vs quantity, this was a 5 star experience!
I was suddenly racked with a desire for wings, and so, I searched a bit, and found this highly reviewed spot. I decided to stop by. Lemon pepper wings (4/5) These blow Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop out of the water. It tastes like McCormick Gourmet Lemon Pepper Seasoning Salt and a chicken version of chicharron mixed together. I loved it. Each bite, you're like... "Yeah... Tastes like McCormick... Yep pretty much pure McCormick powder. Yep its like the chicken was fried in that powder. This is good stuff!" Anyone who has said otherwise is a freaking liar. Unfollow them! Anyways, yes, it's good. Still not as good as Kyo-chon in it's prime, but, between this blows KFC, Buffalo Wild Wings, Wingstop out of the water, probably Wingfix as well. Out of the water with a nuclear missle, those aren't even close. I think the main reason, is that the wing is flavored and dry, which is very different from a wing that is flavored and wet. The dryness really sharpens the umami and seasoning, like the difference between lemonade and lemon powder. If you have a working tongue this is good. Also, eat while it's freshly served. It's still good cold, but that steamy hotness carries the smell a bit and it had a pleasing smell. Like some sort of peppery lemon... Garlic wings (4/5) Same as the lemon pepper, also dry, but the real name should he garlic butter wings. It almost tastes like they turned both ingredients into a powder and dunked the wing in the powder and then fried it. It is good. I think you want to pack as much umami into the skin as possible to make up for the lack of flavor the meat has. The skin to meat ratio allows for a lot of skin to provide that garlic and butter flavor before it gets dilluted by the chicken. Honey bbq wings (3/5) I had the dry flavors first and this was a bit of a miss for me. Next time, I'd do the teriyaki. This flavor is a wet one and I can't help but fantasize about Kyo-chon while eating Wings World on that one. While Wing World might be in my mouth, Kyo-chon is in my heart, sorry :'( I'm not sure if there's any fault with the flavor, just my preference. The two just doesn't seem to play well together. Imagine having some honey tea, or honey, ah.. so sweet, and mid sip that tea now tastes like mesquite bbq. It's just a bit weird for me. I can't help, but compare it to Kyo chon and if memory serves correctly, their honey wings were more of a salt, garlic, and honey blend, and the honey flavor stands out well, and two main flavors take turns standing out. It's an addictive experience. Honey bbq tastes like two flavors both clashing together to form some mutant flavor. Almost like Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce mixed with some A1. They're both good on their own, but when you put it together it just doesn't seem right. Still though flavor aside, well executed. These guys are definitely good at making wings. This place sets the bar for sure. Worth a visit.
If you want some great wings and a place that values it's customers and appreciates your business then wing world is the place to go. They have a variety of wing flavors and cool each to perfection. I have been coming here for years and they always remember my order, they are always so friendly and I'm always satisfied after I eat. I love places that cook your food to order and give you an honest timeframe for when it will be done. The wings are never over cooked or over sauced, the fries are never burnt and always cooked just right and the burgers and sandwiches always hit the spot. With the hike in chicken prices lately they've still been able to keep prices manageable and don't have a crazy up charge. If you are thinking about it for sure visit and give them a try.
